CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Georgia Tech is advancing toward filling its broadcasting opening and could fill it in the next few weeks.
Athletic director Mike Bobinski provided that information at the ACC Kickoff event Tuesday. Bobinski said that the school received significant interest and that “the challenge has been in getting the pool down to a workable number. We’re close to that.”
Bobinski said he was hopeful that the school could begin on-campus interviews with candidates at the end of next week “and get a decision made shortly thereafter. We’re in the home stretch here now.
