After narrowly dropping the Junkanoo Jam championship to Rutgers for their first loss of the season, the Jackets torched Wisconsin and Kennesaw State in consecutive outings to establish themselves at third in the ACC (based on overall record for now, since conference play doesn’t start until 12/29 vs Virginia). This team looks good — real good.
However, this comes with the caveat that the schedule has been...lacking so far. Games against the likes of Grambling, Georgia State, and Kennesaw State aren’t necessarily quality wins, and the Jackets won’t face a (currently) ranked team until they face #12 Texas A&M at home on 12/20.
