Recruiting: WR Jair Anderson is Commitment #12

The joy from Christmas Day continued into Boxing Day for the Georgia Tech coaching staff as they added a local target to their 2016 recruiting class. Jair Anderson, a three-star wide receiver from Northview High School in Duluth, GA, sent out the following tweet earlier:

Anderson is the son of former Auburn star and first-round Draft pick Willie Anderson, who spent over a decade in the NFL with the Bengals and Ravens. Jair becomes the 12th commitment in Georgia Tech's 2016 class, and the third wide receiver alongside Jalen Camp and Steve Dolphus. He's also now the fifth commit to come out of the Gwinnett County area, continuing a trend that is very unusual relative to Georgia Tech's history (or lack thereof) of successfully recruiting the county.
