Gallatin, Tenn. running back Jordan Mason has committed to Georgia Tech, as first reported by Kelly Quinlan. This means at least one commitment will come out of the group of official visitors on The Flats last weekend.
The 6’0”, 205-pound back had offers from Iowa State, Navy and MTSU, among others, before receiving an offer from Georgia Tech and subsequently deciding to play for the Yellow Jackets. Mason is a 3-star recruit, according to both Rivals (5.5) and 247Sports Composite (0.8166). Mason is the second commit in the 2017 class from Tennessee, along with Gentry Bonds. He is also the second running back, joining Jerry Howard.
