For seven straight years, Paul Johnson has outperformed or tied the preseason media prediction of the Coastal Division standings. This season, the old ball coach can only match that prediction or fall short.
Kirk Herbstreit, as seen on ESPN’s College Gameday, is a big fan of Georgia Tech this upcoming year. In a column where he hands out his preseason “Herbies”, Kirk gives the trophy of “Most Exciting Player” to Justin Thomas. In addition, he predicts Tech to win the ACC in a win over FSU, but leaves them out of the College Football Playoff.
