Well that was fun! After a bit of a rough start, the Yellow Jackets were able to pull out a 35-17 victory in their ACC opener over the Pitt Panthers, despite turning the ball over four times.
Pitt opened up the game with a bit of a methodical drive that made it seem like it was going to be a long game for the Jackets. Tech’s patented “Leaky Roof Defense” was doing exactly what everybody feared it would: giving up all sorts of plays to the offense. And then, all of a sudden, that wasn’t a problem anymore.
