Today, Georgia Tech basketball got it’s first commitment today for the 2020 class. Power Forward Jordan Meka announced on Twitter that he is “200% committed” to playing at Georgia Tech. You love to see that enthusiasm. Meka is rated as a 3-star .8915 recruit on the 247 composite. He is 6’9” and 210 pounds (although I’m always skeptical of these measurements). Jordan played at Mt. Bethel High School and for the Georgia Stars AAU team. He had interest from Georgia, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, and UConn among others. This is a big pickup for Josh Pastner as he looks to get a strong recruiting class this year.
