The #14 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have been an early favorite around college football to threaten to upset the dynamic, and coming into their game against #8 Notre Dame, the line favored the Fighting Irish by a single point.
Notre Dame struggled to pull away, and after the third quarter, the score was 16-7 in favor of the Irish. But then both teams kicked it into gear in the game’s final 15 minutes.
Notre Dame running back C.J. Prosise, already with one touchdown under his belt, scored two touchdowns to open the final quarter and put his team up 30-7, essentially capping the victory.
