Sophomore guard Josh Okogie, a two-year starter for Josh Pastner’s Yellow Jackets, will remain in the NBA Draft and forgo his two remaining seasons of eligibility at Georgia Tech. The news comes two months after Okogie first opened the door to going pro, announcing his intentions to work out and interview with NBA teams while remaining eligible to return to college.
Okogie’s decision comes after his incredibly strong performance at the NBA Draft Combine last week. Among all participants at the combine, Okogie finish fourth in standing vertical leap at 33 inches, tied for first in max vertical leap at 42 inches, and first in the three quarter spring at 3.
