Georgia Tech took an early 7-0 lead, saw it all disappear and then rallied for 10 points in the final six minutes of the fourth quarter to top Boston College 17-14 in its season opener 4,000 miles from home in Dublin, Ireland. Dedric Mills scored the game-winning TD with 35 seconds remaining.

It’s a significant victory for the Yellow Jackets coming off a 3-9 season. It gives them momentum into the early season, an early 1-0 record in the ACC and hopes for a big turnaround. It was similar to rallies early in the 2014 season that ended up with an Orange Bowl berth and victory.
