Things got going quickly for the good guys in some Thursday Night Football action between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Virginia Tech Hokies.
After a 9-yard rush by Marcus Allen to open the game, Justin Thomas found a wide open Ricky Jeune up the seam for a 58-yard gain down to the Virginia Tech 8-yard line. Allen ran it in for a 4-yard score two plays later.
A couple of possessions later, Tyler Marcordes forced a fumble that was recovered by Jamal Golden to give the Jackets the ball on the VT 45-yard line.
