We're through one half at Bobby Dodd Stadium ... and so far, so good for Georgia Tech.
The offense exploded out of the gates with an 81-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Marshall. After one quarter, the Jackets had 164 total yards and led 14-7.
The second quarter was a different story. Penalties plagued the offense, and despite the defense picking up its play, Tech managed just one field goal right before the half.
Things to watch for
- The dive play has had some pretty good success at times today. For what I believe to be the first time all season, Tech ran three consecutive dive plays for a first down on the second touchdown drive.
