Georgia Tech to play three games in the Bahamas

The Georgia Tech basketball team gets the chance that apparently only comes around once every twenty-five years for them this August. The team will travel out of the country to play basketball for the first time since 1991.

According to accsports.com, the Yellow Jackets will be traveling to the Bahamas from August 5-11. The team will be taking on a Bahamian all-star team in three separate games on August 6, 8, and 9.

“It’s going to be great for our team,” head coach Brian Gregory said.

“It also gives us a chance to really start working on some things that we believe are important for our team to be successful this year, things that we identified at the end of last season that we’ve worked on more individually in the spring and early part of this summer.
