The Georgia Tech softball team would have preferred to sweep Duke in their doubleheader on Friday but were only able to split it with Duke.
Game 1: 2-1 Loss
Senior ace Emily Anderson got the start in game one of the doubleheader on Friday and pitched well, allowing just two runs in over 7.1 innings pitched. However it wasn’t enough for Anderson, as she picked up her 10th loss of the season and is now 13-10 on the season.
Offensively, the bats struggled much like they did for the Georgia Tech baseball team on Friday night.
