The Georgia tech softball team looked to pick up their fourth win of a five-game weekend tournament in the 2018 Matador Classic. The only thing standing in the Jackets way was the 4-22 Santa Clara. On Saturday, the Jackets defeated the Broncos 11-0 and sent ace Emily Anderson to the mound on Sunday.
Anderson would get through the first two innings fairly easily but struggled in the third inning allowing four runs, three of them earned. Naomi Dickerson came on in relief of Anderson on Sunday but struggled herself allowing three runs on eight hits over three innings.
