The Georgia Tech softball team did not get the result they were hoping for on Wednesday night against Georgia State. The Jackets took on the 15-15 Panthers needing a win heading into a pivotal ACC series against Florida State this upcoming weekend. The Jackets were also looking for revenge after a 5-2 loss earlier this season to the Panthers.
The Yellow Jackets offense would get off to a quick, start scoring two runs in the first inning. Rebecca Prairie hit a two-run home run after Katie Krzus got on base thanks to a Georgia State throwing error.
