It’s the end of March which means the final full month of regular season softball is about to begin for the Georgia Tech softball team. The Jackets right now are sitting 22-16 overall and 5-7 in conference play, which is pretty good considering where they’ve sat the last few seasons. For comparison, the Jackets only won 28 games last year, so picking up seven more wins over the last few weeks of the season doesn’t seem like too much to ask for.
That being said, the Jackets are coming off one of their roughest weekends as they were swept by the Duke Blue Devils, moving their losing streak to four games after losing their midweek showdown against Alabama last week.
