Georgia Tech continued its magical run on Hall of Fame Weekend, defeating Virginia Tech 35–20 to move to 6–0 for the first time since the 1950s. The 13th-ranked Yellow Jackets entered the game with their highest national ranking in more than a decade ,and looked every bit the part of a ACC contender on Saturday night in Atlanta.
Quarterback Haynes King delivered another efficient and electric performance, completing 20 of 24 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown. He also added 60 yards on the ground and two rushing scores, leading an offense that piled up 481 total yards.
