We have reached the dog days of summer. We’re caught between the end of basketball and the beginning of football, and everything has slowed down. Recruiting news won’t pick back up in earnest until towards the beginning of the season, when camps and things like The Opening have finished.

Recently, three-star CB Gentry Bonds from Murfreesboro, Tenn. listed Tech as one of a very eclectic top five.
It’s hard to predict where his recruitment will end up, especially because a lot of these schools probably aren’t used to recruiting against each other, and because there isn’t a clear link between them that might suggest his motivations.
