In the first hours of National Signing Day, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets picked up their latest commit of the 2018 class in RB Christian Malloy of Parkview HS in Lilburn, GA.
Malloy is a 3-star recruit per both Rivals (5.5) and 247 composite (0.8065). Malloy was heavily recruited by programs from G5 conferences, but only received three Power-5 offers(Tech, Northwestern, Indiana), though Rivals and 247 disagree on whether he held a Purdue offer. Some of this can be attributed to the injury he recovered from over the course of his senior season, which limited his opportunity to showcase his skills and made him a riskier prospect.
