Georgia Tech got a welcome surprise Monday night with the commitment of RB C’Bo Flemister of Pike County, who was originally committed to Georgia Southern. A bit of a late bloomer on the recruiting trail, Georgia Tech was Flemister’s only Power-5 offer, but he notably sported offers from every military academy and Georgia Southern, so his value to flexbone teams was well-known.
Flemister played against Tech commit JaQuez Jackson and Peach County this year and, despite the loss, Flemister put up 146 yards on 30 carries with a TD. He also returned a kick for a TD. In fact, Flemister was 11th in the state in rushing yards with 1771.
