The wait is over for Georgia Tech when it comes to landing their first commitment for the 2020 recruiting class. On Thursday afternoon, the Jackets earned a commitment from pro-style quarterback and Tampa, Florida native Tucker Gleason.
Gleason, a three-star quarterback in 247Sport’s composite rankings is ranked as a top-700 player nationally, the 30th best pro-style quarterback in the country, and the 91st best player in the state of Florida.
Gleason announced his commitment to Tech on Twitter.
Prior to his commitment, Gleason racked up a quality offer sheet including offers from Duke, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
