In the wake of upcoming Hurricane Irma, the Georgia Tech Athletic Department has announced that all residents of evacuated areas who will be calling Atlanta home for the immediate future are being offered free admittance into Georgia Tech’s home opener versus Jacksonville State.
If you are a resident of an area that is currently under an evacuation order, all you need to do is show up with a valid state-issued ID from an effected area to the Brittain Dining Hall lawn starting at 9:30 on Saturday morning.
For those unfamiliar with the area, the Brittain Dining Hall lawn is less than a 10 minute walk from the North Avenue MARTA station and is located directly across the street from Bobby Dodd Stadium.
