With heavy traffic expected in downtown and Midtown in advance of Georgia Tech’s 7 p.m. game against Florida State at Bobby Dodd Stadium, the school is encouraging fans to either take MARTA or pre-purchase a parking pass.
Other events taking place in Atlanta Saturday are a Taylor Swift concert at the Georgia Dome, the Atlanta Arts Festival at Piedmont Park, a soapbox derby on North Avenue and a comedy show at Philips Arena.
A sellout crowd is expected for the Tech-FSU game. Saturday will also be homecoming, with the annual parade beginning at 9 a.m. Parking passes are available for as low at $10 and are available through the Tech website, ramblinwreck.
