Top Georgia Tech football target and four-star quarterback Jeff Sims has re-opened his recruitment with just a week left before the early signing period. Sims, a four-star dual threat quarterback out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Sims originally committed to the Seminoles back in February and appeared steady in his recruitment until former Seminole head coach Willie Taggert was fired last month. Since then, Sims has been looking around, making an official visit to Georgia Tech and Maryland while staying committed to the Seminoles. Until Wednesday morning that is, when the top-10 ranked dual-threat quarterback decommitted from the Seminoles via his Twitter account.
