After hitting the pause button on spring practice to get the team cleared through COVID protocols, Georgia Tech took the practice field Tuesday morning for the first time since December.
It’s a pivotal spring, as Geoff Collins enters his third season as head coach, Jeff Sims has his first full offseason to prepare as the starting quarterback, and overall talent upgrades raise expectations for the season to come. As we’ve written about this offseason, perhaps the singular key to GT taking a big step forward in 2021 is the improvement of the passing game.
