Lawrenceville, Georgia’s Malachi Carter was down to Iowa State and Georgia Tech heading into this weekend. At the time, it seemed as a toss up of who would land Carter, the Cyclones were very high on the three-star wideout but the Jackets were as well. For Carter, it was about how much of a roll on offense he wanted to play.
On Sunday, he decided that he would rather go to the country’s best school for developing wide receivers, the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The three-star prospect is listed as one of the top 200 wide receivers in the nation and one of the top 200 players in the state of Georgia.
