On Sunday evening, linebacker JaQuez Jackson became the first commitment of the 2018 class when he announced his decision. On Monday, safety Charlie Thomas became the second commitment of the 2018 class. Both players have the potential to be centerpieces of the Jackets defense if they pan out and become starters.
