For the second straight day, Georgia has landed a commitment in their 2018 recruiting class. On Wednesday afternoon, four-star defensive tackle TK Chimedza committed to Georgia Tech. On Thursday afternoon, athlete Tijai Whatley became the fifth member of the recruiting class. Despite being listed as an athlete, Whatley will play running back for Georgia Tech. The Rome, Ga. native is listed at 6-foot-2, and 192-pounds.
Earlier this week, Whatley released a top three of Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Wake Forest. Luckily for Paul Johnson and staff they received the commitment from the running back who has tremendous size and speed.
