The Georgia Tech football team earned its’ ninth commitment in the 2019 recruiting class on Friday. That commitment was from Alpharetta, Georgia native and dual threat quarterback Jordan Yates.
A three-star recruit, Yates is ranked by 247Sports as the 875th best player in the country and the 21st best dual threat quarterback in the country. In terms of the state of Georgia, Yates ranks as the 96th best prospect.
Prior to his commitment, Yates held 14 scholarship offers according to his 247Sports profile but the Jackets were the biggest offer for him by far.
