Thomasville, Georgia native Charlie Thomas is the second member of the 2018 Georgia Tech recruiting class as the safety committed to the Jackets on Monday. He joins linebacker JaQuez Jackson who committed on Sunday night.
A 6-foot-2, 180-pound safety, Thomas will provide the Yellow Jackets with good size and tremendous skills on the field. While unranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings, the recruiting service ranks him as a top-500 player in the nation.
The Thomasville native held 18 scholarship offers prior to his commitment which included some strong programs such as Auburn, USF, and Vanderbilt.
