What He Did In 2017:

Brenton King spent most of spring 2017 battling a lower-body injury and backed up Sean Davis in place-kicking duties until Davis was injured making a tackle during the Miami game. King finished the season going 5-6 on field goals and 15-16 on extra points with a 59.3-yard kick off average. He ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 30 points.

King made his first five field goals of the season against North Carolina, Miami, Clemson and two against Wake Forrest. The Wake Forrest game included a 42 yarder that was the longest of the season for the team.
