Bruce Jordan-Swilling saw action in all 11 games last season primarily as a reserve but did fill in admirably when Brant Mitchell went down with injuries. In total, the freshman legacy racked up 34 total tackles which was good enough for seventh overall on the team. His best game came on the road against Virginia, which was also his first career start. In that game, he forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, and had a pick six, the first touchdown of his young career.
He made arguably his biggest contribution to the season against Wake Forrest stuffing the Demon Deacons on a 4th and 1 attempt with just under four minutes left in the game.
