Don’t look now but David Cutcliffe is entering his tenth season at Duke despite having just a 52-61 record over his nine years so far in Durham. The reason he remains at Duke is for the simple fact that he turned a once perennial doormat program into a respectable program.
Last season, the Blue Devils went 4-8 and 1-7 in conference play, not exactly what Cutcliffe had in mind for his Blue Devils who had won the Pinstripe bowl just the year before. That being said, the Blue Devils did show plenty of potential last season which started with rising sophomore quarterback Daniel Jones.
