Coming out of Ware County High School in Waycross, Ga., Dedrick Mills was rated as a three-star by both Rivals (5.6) and the 247Sports Composite (0.8535).
Mills committed to Georgia Tech on May 27, 2015 over quite a few impressive reported offers: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee. Between his junior and senior seasons, Mills had some pretty impressive showings: 200 carries, 1795 yards, 9.0 yards/rush, 29 touchdowns.

Unfortunately, I only had Mills' junior year film to use for analysis, so whatever analysis I use will probably shorthand him slightly since he's probably gotten quite a bit better with another full year of football under his belt.
