The ACC announced its Players of the Week for week one of the college football season and for the first time this season, a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket has brought home one of the honors.
On Tuesday, the ACC announced that Georgia Tech starting quarterback TaQuon Marshall won the honor for quarterbacks and running backs. For those who watched Monday night’s thriller between the Jackets and Tennessee Volunteers, it’s not shocking that Marshall was awarded for his efforts. After all, it was the TaQuon Marshall show.
All Marshall did on Tuesday night was terrorize the Tennessee defense as he accounted for 369 total yards and five touchdowns.
