Georgia Tech Football: Lynch finds place in Tech record book

Senior a-back Clinton Lynch became the first Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket on Saturday to break the 1,000 career rushing yards and 1,000 career receiving yards mark. The senior a-back set the feat on a 41-yard reception pass from Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall. It was Marshall first reception of the day and his seventh on the season.

Lynch on Saturday entered the game with seven rushes for 39-yards and six receptions for 168-yards. Putting him just 32-yards shy of joining the 1,000/1,000 club.

According to College Football Reference’s play index, Lynch is the 68th player since 2000 to have at least 1,000 career receiving yards and 1,000 career rushing yards.
