Georgia Tech’s quarterback picture for the future has just become a tad more crowded as on Tuesday evening, quarterback Lucas Johnson found out that he has three more years of eligibility after receiving a waiver for a sixth year of eligibility.
Johnson applied for the sixth year waiver after having to miss the entirety of last season due to a leg injury, once that occurred a year ago this week. Since he missed the entire season due to the injury and already had a redshirt season, Johnson was able to apply for a sixth-year waiver with the chance of getting granted an extra year of eligibility.
