The two leading rushers from the 2017 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets season were named to the Maxwell Award Watchlist for the 2018 season. TaQuon Marshall and KirVonte Benson were both named to the list following their break out 2017 seasons on Monday morning.
The Maxwell Award is awarded to College Football’s player of the year and will be presented for the 82nd time this season.
The semifinalists will be announced on Oct. 29 and top three finalists will be announced on Nov. 19th. With the award being present in Atlantic City on March 8, 2019.
