Georgia Tech’s first tight end offer in the 2019 recruiting class and the first offer to a player in the position in 11-years went out to New Jersey tight end Dylan Deveny. The 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end, a Rutgers commitment since June 20th, confirmed last night following an official visit to The Flats that he decommited from Rutgers.
Following his visit and decommitment, the Yellow Jackets received three 247Sports crystal ball picks including one from national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn.
With that being said, it seems like a commitment from Deveney to the Yellow Jackets can come at anytime and it will be interesting to see whether or not he decides to commit and sign on Wednesday or if he will wait to sign in February in hopes of picking up more offers.
