It’s been a busy day for the Georgia Tech football program. Earlier Thursday afternoon, the Jackets landed their first commitment in QB Tucker Gleason. Now, the Yellow Jackets have added their second commitment of the day on Thursday, in Locust Grove tight end Billy Ward.
Ward, a three-star recruit is considered a top-1000 prospect by 247Sports and a top-30 tight end in the country. He’s also ranked as one of the top-75 players in the Peach State. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Locust Grove native has amassed 13 scholarship offers so far in his recruitment putting together a quality offer list.
