Last week, it was made known by media outlets that Notre Dame defensive bank Derrik Allen would be leaving the Notre Dame program after just one season with the Irish.
The one program that made sense from the start for Allen, of course, was the Georgia Tech Football program. On Monday, Allen announced via Twitter that he has found his new home and it is indeed the The Flats of Georgia Tech.
Allen is a former four-star prospect from the 2018 recruiting class that was ranked as a top-110 player in the country. He was also considered a top 10 safety in the country and a top-15 player in the state of Georgia.
