Trent Howard has seen enough in his recruitment to be ready to call it and on Monday evening, the three-star offensive guard committed to head coach Geoff Collins, offensive line coach Brent Key, and the Georgia Tech football program.
Howard, a native of Birmingham committed to the Jackets after being offer late last month. The Jackets are one of six Power Five offers for Howard, who has a majority of his offers from Group of 5 or FCS programs. Notable programs to offer him include Louisville, Maryland, and Miami.
Howard does have a strong football pedigree, however, with his father Johnny Howard, a member of Alabama’s 1992 NCAA Championship team according to 247Sports.
