Though it wasn’t always pretty, Georgia Tech (5-4) got one hard-fought step closer to the postseason with a roller coaster 28-22 win over the Hokies in a game that came down to the final moments.
Fans on the Flats Saturday afternoon saw a dominant first half from Paul Johnson’s squad, but got a painfully familiar second half that saw the game seem to slowly slip away. In the end, however, Tech’s offense fought their way back, while the defense did what needed to be done in the final few minutes.
