Games are won and lost in the trenches and Georgia Tech going forward is looking to build on both sides of the ball. On Sunday, the Jackets earned their sixth commitment from an offensive lineman as Biloxi, Mississippi offensive lineman Ryan Spiers committed to the Yellow Jackets.
Spiers, an unranked player by all the major recruiting services is commit No.21 of the 2020 recruiting class for the Yellow Jackets. He is the first commit from the state of Mississippi in the class as well. Before committing to the Jackets, Spiers also had scholarship offers from a few Group of Five programs in Louisiana-Monroe, South Alabama, and UAB.
