Vaipulu is a highly rated offensive tackle out of Channelview, Texas. This pick up is huge considering the offensive line may be one of the weak points for Georgia Tech’s current roster. Injuries and lack of experience have plagued the Tech offensive line all season long.
The current recruiting class has five offensive line commits and adding a 6th would be huge news for the Yellow Jackets. Depth is what the offensive line needs and Vaipulu has the talent to be a potential impact player immediately.
Vaipulu will be joining the ranks of Cade Kootsouradis, Trent Howard, Ryan Spiers, Wing Green, Jordan Williams, and Michael Rankins for the 2020 class.
