Georgia Tech Football: Future Jacket QB Jordan Yates shines in Georgia’s 7A State Title Game

As he has for the majority of his senior season for Milton, Georgia Tech quarterback commitment Jordan Yates shined on Wednesday night in the Georgia 7A state title game against Colquitt County.

The Milton Eagles entered the game as a 21-point underdog in projections but found a way to eek by the Colquitt County Packers 14-13 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Entering the game, Colquitt County was considered the eighth best team in the country while Milton was ranked 73rd.

Yates, a three-star composite recruit according to 247Sports composite rankings, played more like a five-star on Wednesday night against Colquitt, throwing for 177-yards while adding an additional 96 on the ground according to The Albany Herald.
