Saturday’s win over Wake Forest showed both sides of the 2017 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. There’s the side that looked like a 3-2 team coming into the game and then there was the side that looked like a 5-0 team. Early on in the game, especially the second quarter, the Deacons were moving the ball up an down the field with ease, the Jackets offense was stalling and unable to respond.
In the second half, both the offense and defense were tremendous and were part of a great comeback for the Yellow Jackets. The strong second half had to be a big confidence boost to a team coming off a heartbreaking loss to Miami the week prior and a real struggle in the half prior.
