The Georgia Tech football team won its third straight game on Saturday in a 33-7 victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The story of the game on Saturday was once again the Yellow Jackets defense that held kept a Tar Heel offense that was averaging 30+ points a game to just 101-yds of total offense in the first half and 247 offensive yards for the game. It was the third straight game that the Yellow Jackets kept opponents under 300 offensive yards.
North Carolina freshman quarterback Chazz Surratt started the game for the Tar Heels but had another adequate performance.
