Geoff Collins and his coaching staff have picked up their 14th commitment in the 2020 recruiting class on Wednesday when Atlanta native and three-star defensive end Kyle Kennard announced his commitment to the Yellow Jackets.
Kennard, a tall 6-foot-4 defensive end held 12 scholarship offers according to his 247Sports profile including offers from Arizona State, Iowa State, Minnesota, Missouri, and Tennessee. The Jackets for most of Kennard’s recruitment were the favorites to land the local talent.
The commitment from Kennard is no surprise with that being said as he’s been a likely commitment and especially so since his official visit on May 24.
